JillJill and Todd Piechowski started Abbie Lake Kennels in March of 2002 as a natural extension of their love for dogs. It all started in 1985 when they bought their first Weimaraner, Casey. They quickly became involved in hunting and obedience training and became AKC Hunt Test judges for pointing breeds in 1989. They ^Tare have participated in Conformation and obedience shows, hunt tests, and field trials. They currently own 3 dogs, 3 horses, and a canary. Jill Piechowski confirmed, “This business is not just a job to me. It is my heart!”





DeannaDeanna: Deanna started working here the fall of 2014. She started out as a volunteer at the local pet shelters, participated in dog training, and agility classes. Enjoys the dog park with her own dog and has been a dog owner to many shelter dogs. She has a passion for all animals.







CrissyChrissy: Chrissy started working with us at the end of 2013. She loves spending time with the animals and working with them. She is currently attending Delano High School.








Jennifer
Jenifer: Jenifer started working at Abbie Lake Kennels In the summer of 2015. She love dogs AND has a black lab named Henry. Jenifer is attending Normandale Community College with the PSEO program. 








Kathi
Kathe: Kathe has been with Abbie Lake Kennels for many years and has a passion for animals with many animals of her own.







Sam:
Sam has been with Abbie Lake Kennels since June 2011. Her passion for animals started when she was young. She lived on a hobby farm with many different animals including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, etc. She loves coming to work to play with the dogs. She is attending St. Thomas University.

Thea: Thea started working at Abbie Lake Kennels in the spring of 2014. She enjoys working at the kennel because she loves working with the animals. Thea currently goes to Delano High school and will be a senior this coming year. She enjoys swimming on the school swim team, playing hockey, and doing anything that involves friends. Thea hopes to become a small and large animal vet. She also has three dogs, a Viszla, English Springer Spaniel, and a Black Lab Mix.
